Removing a connected social account

When you connect Instagram, LinkedIn, X or TikTok to a project, Avalon stores that account's identity (its id, display name and profile picture URL) and an access token, encrypted at rest. Nothing else about the account is stored — we don't read your followers, messages or existing posts.

To remove it, sign in and go to Settings → Projects → Edit project → Social Media, then press Disconnect on that account. The connection and its token are deleted immediately from that project. Connections are per project, so disconnect it in each project you connected it to.

You can also remove Avalon from the platform's own side — for Instagram and Facebook, under Settings → Apps and websites. That triggers the automated request described below.

Automated deletion requests

When you remove Avalon from your Instagram or Facebook account, the platform sends us a signed deletion request. We verify its signature, erase every connection to that account across all projects, and record a confirmation code so the outcome can be checked at this page. This happens without any action from you.

Deleting your whole Avalon account

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask us to close the account. We remove your profile, companies, projects, posts, contacts, uploaded media and every social connection. We'll confirm by email once it's done, normally within a few working days.

Scheduled posts are cancelled as part of this — anything already published to a social platform stays on that platform, since it lives there, not with us. Delete those from the platform itself.
